This Valentine’s Day at Rustico Highland Village, we are offering extended Happy Hour starting at 3 pm until 6 pm. This means half-price off of all drinks, beer, and glasses of wine. Instead of opening at 4 pm, we will be opening at 3 pm to be able to offer an extra hour of Happy Hour to our guests.

As far as wine goes, it will be Wine Wednesday on Valentine’s Day, which is the perfect night to come and enjoy some half-price glasses of our red wine. The GLS Austin Hope Cabernet is a perfect combo to enjoy with our 7oz fillet. This wine is dry, yet sweet red wine with flavors that evolve with vanilla foam, ripe dark fruit, roasted coffee, and nuances of spice. If you enjoy red wine, you might also consider trying the GLS Conundrum by Caymus which is a terrific, full-bodied, smooth red wine with aromas of fleshy ripe dark berries, spice, and mocha. If you are not a red wine sipper, I recommend trying some of the sweet white wine that is offered. The Mohua Sauvignon Blanc has a sweet tropical fruit finish and pairs extremely well with lean meats and fish. A local favorite is the La Marca Prosecco which is a dry and easy-to-drink wine that pairs well with salads or seafood.

This dessert consists of homemade cinnamon/sugar Churros with whiskey bourbon cream, blueberries, and blackberries on top of Blue Bell cinnamon Ice Cream, rolled in cinnamon sugar. The final touch is drizzled with hot caramel. It is the best way to end your meal from Rustico Highland Village. Another great dessert to try is the Turtle Cheesecake with peanut butter whiskey whipped cream and toffee bits. If you enjoy peanut butter and cheesecake this is the perfect dessert for you!
